What we shipped.

One big swing this quarter: a redesigned survey experience built around the respondent, plus platform improvements across analysis and exports.

Now rolling out

Walr System Theme

A ground-up redesign of the survey experience.

We're rolling out a redesigned survey interface built around the respondent. It's cleaner and simpler to move through, much closer to the apps people already spend their time in. The first release covers 32 question types, with more to follow.

Platform changelog

  • Walr System ThemeSurvey BuilderA redesigned survey theme that gives respondents a cleaner, more modern way to answer.
  • Excel export: codes and labelsAnalysis & ReportingChoose how response values land in Excel: numeric codes, text labels, or both. Codes and Labels is the new default.
  • Map tab now matches Data tab variablesAnalysis & ReportingVariable names in the Excel export's Map tab now match the Data tab's column names, so codes and labels cross-reference cleanly.
  • Export exclusion settings moved to Container tabSurvey BuilderThe three export exclusion checkboxes now live under the Container tab. Behaviour is unchanged and existing configurations carry over.

What our partners are saying.

Very often the specs of our quotes change because the client changes something, and Walr have always been prompt and efficient in dealing with those changes.

Speed only really helps if the data can be trusted. The biggest compliment I can give Walr is that we stopped looking elsewhere.
